The Technical Course in Informatics: Network Installation and Management, has as its main objective to prepare students to install and maintain computer networks and systems, and also to ensure the management and operation of computer equipment and their respective communication and web networks.

• Perform the installation, configuration, management, and maintenance of computer networks and network equipment, taking into account the techniques and procedures underlying network architecture, planning, and design, in order to ensure their correct and secure operation;
• Perform the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, peripherals, local area networks, services (email, web, proxy, firewall, etc.), operating systems (based on Windows or Linux), and utilities, according to the needs of organizations and their users in order to optimize their operation;
• Configure, administer, and use computer network management software, user account administration, and network servers, i.e., printing (print server), web, and email.

This professional is qualified to work in IT security companies; computer and service companies; web hosting companies; network equipment development companies; and IT infrastructure companies.
