Professional education

Professional profile

The Technical Course in Laboratory Analysis aims to prepare students for the job market through practical learning. Currently, there is a growing demand for quality, both in terms of the final product and production quality, highlighting the importance of physical, chemical, and microbiological tests for quality control.

This course provides a solid foundation in chemistry, physics, and microbiology, preparing students to work in clinical and laboratory analysis laboratories (water, soil, air), industrial laboratories (food, chemical, and processing), and school laboratories. Choosing vocational training also provides adequate preparation for students who wish to pursue higher education.

What will you learn?

  • Analyze the instructions that accompany each of the tasks to be performed.
  • Prepare the materials and equipment necessary for carrying out analyses and/or tests.
  • Perform chemical, physical, and microbiological analyses and/or tests.
  • Evaluate the results of the analyses and/or tests performed, comparing them with the results previously established.
  • Prepare reports, performing calculations, and recording data related to the control operations of the tests performed in tables and graphs.
  • Ensure that the equipment is in good working order.

Professional opportunities

You will be able to work in various areas, developing activities in clinical analysis laboratories and laboratory analyses (water, soil, air), industrial laboratories (food, chemical, textile) and in school laboratories at various levels of education.
